Our fertility services are based at Nottingham University Hospital (QMC). We provide high quality investigations and treatments for both NHS funded and self-funded patients within a well-established NHS organisation.
Our department follows the vision and values of the wider organisation, and the NHS as a whole. We pride ourselves on our experience, knowledge, empathy and ability to put our wonderful patients at ease. We’re a ‘not for profit’ treatment provider, with strong links to education, research and innovation
NUH Life culture
Not for profit
NUH Life is a not for profit fertility service. We do make a small surplus from patients who are not NHS funded, in order to allow for future development. Any financial surplus beyond this is put straight back into patient care.
Holistic approach
NUH Life is committed to an holistic approach to fertility. This includes education, support, and our approach to treatment. We always encourage and opt for the most simple, natural treatment first, and only move on to more complex treatment if it is needed.
Evidence-based science and medicine
NUH Life will only provide investigations which are backed by scientific evidence and help to make clinical decisions. Similarly, we only provide treatments that are clinically effective and backed by evidence.
Transparency
We’re committed to providing patients with accurate and up-to-date information so they can make the best decisions about the form of treatment they require. At no time will NUH Life encourage patients to undertake investigations that are deemed unnecessary, or treatments which carry a poor chance of success.
